Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Cardypedia and its online, social, messaging, profile, support, and related services operated under the Sanchivo developer name.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing, creating an account for, or using Cardypedia, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the applicable Community Rules. If you do not agree, do not use Cardypedia.
If applicable law requires permission from a parent, guardian, or other authorized person for you to use the service, you are responsible for obtaining that permission.
2. Cardypedia accounts
Cardypedia may be used with a Guest account or with supported third-party sign-in methods such as Google Sign-In. Guest and Google-linked Cardypedia accounts are separate accounts unless the service explicitly provides a supported account-linking feature.
You are responsible for maintaining control of the device, third-party account, and authentication methods used to access your Cardypedia account. Do not share authentication codes, session tokens, passwords, or other credentials with other people.
Guest accounts may depend on an app-generated identifier stored locally on the device. Clearing app data, uninstalling the app, changing devices, or losing access to the device may make a Guest account unavailable or unrecoverable where no supported recovery method exists.
3. Profiles and social features
Cardypedia may provide profile features including a Cardypedia ID, display name, avatar, optional supported profile photo, avatar frame, friends, friend requests, blocked users, recent players, invitations, presence information, and similar social features.
Information you intentionally place in public or player-facing profile fields may be shown to other Cardypedia users. You must not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or use profile content that infringes another person's rights.
4. Online games and fair play
You agree to use Cardypedia's online games fairly and not to interfere with normal gameplay or the experience of other players.
You must not:
- use cheats, unauthorized automation, exploits, modified clients, or other methods intended to gain an unfair advantage;
- intentionally disrupt matches, abuse reconnect or matchmaking systems, or interfere with the service's infrastructure;
- attempt to access another user's account, private data, or restricted service functions;
- probe, attack, overload, reverse-engineer for abusive purposes, or circumvent technical protections of the service, except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise;
- use Cardypedia for fraud, unlawful activity, or conduct that creates a material security risk.
Game rules, matchmaking logic, bot behavior, scoring, interface behavior, and available game modes may be adjusted over time to improve balance, reliability, security, or user experience.
5. Messages, room chat, and user content
Cardypedia may allow direct messages, room chat, profile text or imagery, and other user-submitted content. You remain responsible for content you submit.
You must not submit or use Cardypedia to distribute content that:
- is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or intended to seriously abuse another person;
- contains malicious links, scams, spam, credential requests, or attempts to obtain sensitive personal information;
- infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- contains another person's sensitive personal information without an appropriate lawful basis or permission;
- is designed to evade moderation, reporting, blocking, rate limits, or other safety controls.
Cardypedia provides reporting and blocking tools for supported interactions. Sanchivo may review reports and take reasonable action to protect users, enforce these Terms and the Community Rules, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
6. License to operate user content
You retain ownership of content that you own and submit to Cardypedia. By submitting content, you grant Sanchivo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, display, and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, support, and improve Cardypedia and its related services.
This license does not transfer ownership of your content to Sanchivo. It ends when the content is deleted from the service, except to the extent a limited copy must be retained for security, moderation, dispute handling, backup processes, or legal compliance as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Reports, moderation, and enforcement
Reports may include limited snapshots of profiles, messages, or gameplay context needed to investigate the reported conduct. A report does not automatically establish that a violation occurred.
Where reasonably necessary and technically available, Sanchivo may restrict access to features, limit abusive activity, preserve evidence, remove or disregard content, or take other proportionate measures to protect the service and its users.
8. Advertising and third-party services
Cardypedia may display advertising through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and may use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for privacy and consent choices where required. Cardypedia also uses or may rely on third-party services such as Google Sign-In, Firebase, hosting providers, and network infrastructure providers.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Sanchivo does not control the independent terms, availability, or policies of those third parties.
Information about Cardypedia's data handling and advertising practices is provided in the Privacy Policy.
9. No purchases in the current service
The current Cardypedia service does not provide paid digital items, subscriptions, or other in-app purchases. If paid features are introduced in the future, additional purchase terms and applicable platform rules may apply.
10. Service availability and changes
Cardypedia is an online-enabled service and some features require an internet connection and functioning third-party or backend services. We do not guarantee that every feature will be available at all times or that every interrupted match, message, invitation, or connection can always be restored.
We may update, modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, technical changes, product development, or service quality.
11. Intellectual property
Except for user-owned content and third-party materials, Cardypedia, Sanchivo branding, software, graphics, interface elements, game presentation, and related original materials are owned by or licensed to Sanchivo and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Cardypedia for its intended purpose. They do not grant you ownership of Cardypedia or Sanchivo's intellectual property.
12. Account deletion
You may permanently delete your Cardypedia account using the in-app deletion feature or, if you cannot access the app, start a deletion request through the Account Deletion page.
Account deletion is permanent. Some limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud and abuse prevention, moderation, dispute handling, legal compliance, or normal backup and operational processes, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
13. Disclaimers
Cardypedia is provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sanchivo does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, continuous availability of online services, or that every defect can be corrected immediately.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sanchivo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic losses arising from use of or inability to use Cardypedia where such liability may lawfully be excluded.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including any mandatory consumer protections or other non-waivable rights under applicable law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when Cardypedia's features, legal requirements, safety practices, or service arrangements change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date. Where required by applicable law, additional notice will be provided.
16. Applicable law and mandatory rights
These Terms are interpreted subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or reduce rights that applicable consumer, privacy, or other mandatory law gives you.
